I’ll be sitting for my orthopedics exam this Friday, then a week off that will be spent camping in a national park near Kuching and delivering cutie patootie babies into the world (a prerequisite of 15 babies so that I can graduate. Amelia and I were lucky enough to see a Sunda flying lemur up close. It’s so cute with it’s tiny ears and beady eyes, we wanted to take it home (we didnt.)
It is found only in South East Asia and is currently a protected animal.

This isn’t a particularly good or flattering photo of both of us, but going from seeing her almost daily to 4 or 5 times in 5 years makes me love this picture dearly. In all the pictures I have with her, one or both of us would look dorky/awkward/psychotic and we’d give up after 2 tries.

I took this to amuse myself during a very boring flight. It’s been 4 months since I’ve been in Borneo and haven’t been able to go home. I’m starting to feel like a wild woman in the jungle. I’m excited to head back to KL at the end of this month.
